May 22, 2019 – K·Coe Isom, a national business advisory firm focused on food and agriculture, announced the appointment of two firm leaders as principals: Brent Bright and Dusty Marquardt.

Commenting on the principals promotions, K·Coe Isom CEO Jeff Wald said, “Brent and Dusty provide a specialized level of business advisory and dedication for farmers and ranchers that is unparalleled for the ag industry.  As young, bright leaders, their promotions demonstrate K·Coe Isom’s continued commitment to recognizing and providing the best people with long-term career opportunities.  The future looks bright as we bolster the firm with this new level of advisory leadership.  We congratulate them on this outstanding achievement.”

Brent Bright is a specialized consultant on the issues that farmers and ranchers throughout the country are facing.  He provides expert advisory and innovative solutions on tax planning, financial strategy, accounting, estate plans, business reorganization, and succession plans.  Brent is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and gained valuable appreciation, insight, and passion for helping other food and agriculture businesses when he married into a farm family.  He is based in Colorado.

“Brent is a seasoned professional whose business-savvy and personal attention to his clients has delivered enormous value for farms and ranches throughout many regions in the U.S.  He brings a clear business perspective, along with a strong personal passion, and applies it to improve agribusiness operations,” says Wald.

Dusty Marquardt provides expertise to cattle and dairy ranchers and commodity crop farmers across the midwest region. Growing up on a third-generation family farm, Dusty is equipped with more than financial advisory experience, he has lived and breathed his clients’ operational and business experiences.  His combined passion and strong business acumen provide the foundation for Dusty’s unique ability to formulate financial strategies for success, benchmark operations, make the most of investments, and optimize operating structures. Dusty is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) based in Colorado.

“Dusty’s strategic advisory has been a critical component for the survival and success of many ranch operations throughout the midwest.  He is passionate and detail-oriented, and dedicates himself to finding innovative solutions to both ease ranchers’ pain points and strengthen their financials,” says Wald.
