Information for All Users
KCoe Isom, LLP (“KCoe Isom”) and Pinion, LLC (“Pinion”) practice as an alternative practice structure in accordance with the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and applicable law, regulations, and professional standards. KCoe Isom is a licensed independent CPA firm that provides attest services to its clients, and Pinion and its subsidiary entities provide tax and business consulting services to their clients (collectively, “Services”). Pinion and its subsidiary entities are not licensed CPA firms. The entities falling under the Pinion brand are independently owned and are not liable for the services provided by any other entity providing services under the Pinion brand.
Our use of the terms “our firm” and “we,” “our” and “us” and terms of similar import denote the alternative practice structure conducted by KCoe Isom and Pinion.
This Privacy Policy applies to applies to visitors to www.pinionglobal.com, its subdomains and related sites (collectively, the “Site”) and the users of our Services. It explains how we collect, use, and share personal information.
By visiting our Site or using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your information as described by this Policy. Beyond this Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Use (https://www.pinionglobal.com/terms-of-use/) and any additional agreements you may enter into with us.
Information We Collect
Personal Information. We may gather Personal Information about you to respond to your requests and provide you with appropriate information about our products, services, and events.
For purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information by which you can be identified, including name, date of birth, postal address, e-mail address, location IP address, government-issued identification number and telephone number. Personal Information does not include anonymous or aggregated data that can no longer be used to identify a specific person, even if combined with other data. The specific definition of Personal Information varies from one jurisdiction to another.
We may collect a variety of information about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.
Information You Provide to Us
Registration Information. If you sign up for an account, register to use our Services, or sign up for emails or other updates, we may ask you for basic contact information, such as username, email, name, phone number, or mailing address.
Communications. If you contact us directly, we may collect additional information from you. For example, when you reach out to our customer support team, we may ask for your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, or other contact information so that we can verify your identity and communicate with you. We may also store the contents of any message or attachments that you send to us, as well as any information you submit through any of our forms or questionnaires.
Payment Information. If you make a purchase through the Services, your payment-related information, such as credit card or other financial information, may be collected by our third-party payment processor on our behalf.
Financial Data. We may collect certain financial data which may contain the following: account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password or credentials allowing access to an account.
Job Applications. If you apply for a job with us, we may collect relevant information such as your name, phone number, email address, position, job history, education history, references, a cover letter, or similar information. Our privacy policy for employment applicants is included through a link at the Career page on the Site.
Information We Collect Automatically When You Use Our Site
Device Information. We may collect information about the devices and software you use to access our Services, such as your IP address, web browser type, operating system version, device identifiers, or similar information.
Usage Information. To help us understand how you use our Services and to help us improve them, we may collect data about your interactions with our Services and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. This includes information such as crash reports, session lengths and times, Internet Service Provider (ISP), number of clicks, the pages or other content you view,
Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and our third-party partners may collect information using cookies, pixels, or similar technologies for purposes including recognizing you when you return to the Site, improving the quality of the Site and our Services, administering the Site, or communicating with you. Cookies are small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters. Google Analytics. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address, device type and operating system, referring URLs, location and pages visited. We use it to help create reports and statistics on the performance of the Services. You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to opt out.
How We Use the Information We Collect
We may use the information we collect:
- To provide, maintain, improve, and enhance our Services

- To evaluate and process applications for jobs with us

How We Share the Information We Collect
Service Providers. We may share any information we collect with service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Services. These companies are only permitted to use this information to help us provide our Services, not for their own purposes.
Our Affiliates. We may share your information with our affiliates, subsidiaries, and representatives as needed to provide our Services.

As Required by Law and Similar Disclosures. Event Co-Sponsors. We may share your information with event partners or co-sponsors to facilitate the events for which you register.
Consent. We may also disclose your information with your permission.
Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or in which we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our assets. The use of your information following any of these events will be governed by the same general provisions of this Policy.
Your Choices
Our Communications. From time to time, you may receive marketing or other informational email messages from us. You can unsubscribe from our promotional and informational emails via the link provided in the emails. Users may continue to receive administrative and transactional messages from us necessary to service user accounts after opting out of receiving promotional messages from us.
Cookies. You can manage the details of cookies and pixels through the settings on the for our Site. You will not be able to opt-out of any necessary cookies or other technologies that are essential for the Services.
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through the browser settings. To find out more, visit www.aboutcookies.org or www.allaboutcookies.org. You can also delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them. Likewise, you can make such adjustments to your mobile operating system. Finally, you may enable the Global Privacy Control to automatically communicate your opt-out preferences from your browser. By adjusting your cookie settings, some of the services and functionalities on our Site may not work as well or at all.
Do Not Track. We do not respond to a browser’s Do Not Track signals.
Privacy Rights for U.S. Residents
Your California Privacy Rights. We collect various categories of Personal Information when you use our services, including identifying information, financial information, purchase histories, and internet activity. The purpose of this collection is to assist us in performing services for consumers, including but not limited to transacting business with consumers, detecting security incidents, protecting against fraudulent or illegal activity, engaging in marketing efforts, and advancing our commercial interests.
As a California resident, you may have certain privacy rights relating to your Personal Information as described below, under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”):

This can include the categories and sources of Personal Information, and the categories of third parties with whom we have shared your Personal Information, if any.
- Right to correct inaccuracies. You can request that we correct any inaccurate Personal Information we may have.
- Right to delete. You can request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out. You may have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information.
- Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information: You may have the right to limit the use of Sensitive Personal Information when such use goes beyond that which is necessary for providing the services or certain other permissible purposes.
Selling And Sharing Personal Information
We do not sell your Personal Information to third parties for compensation. Like most companies that operate online, we use online analytics to measure the ways users engage with our Site and Services, and to provide targeted marketing. These analytics, in turn, inform how we perform online advertising. In order to provide these analytics for cross-contextual behavioral advertising and facilitate online advertising, we use third parties that collect device identifiers and place tags, pixels, cookies, beacons, and similar tracking mechanisms on our Site as set forth in in this Policy. As such, California law may classify this limited sharing with contracted third parties as a “sale” or “share” of Personal Information. You may opt-out of our “selling” and “sharing” by accessing the cookie settings.
California’s Shine The Light law
Under California Civil Code Section 1798 (California’s Shine the Light law), California residents with an established business relationship with us can request information once a year about sharing their Personal Information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. If you’d like to request more information under the California Shine the Light law, and if you are a California resident, you can contact us using the contact information provided below.
Your Privacy Rights in Other States. A number of US states may provide their residents with certain privacy rights. Depending on how the applicable privacy law defines a “sale,” we may sell Personal Information to third parties in connection with the Services. We also use cookies and other tracking technologies to display advertisements about our services to you on nonaffiliated websites, applications, and online services.
Residents of certain US states may have the right to request:
- Whether we are processing your Personal Information, access to that information and to receive a copy of your Personal Information.
- The rights to access, correct, or delete Personal Information;
- The right to obtain a portable copy of Personal Information;
- The right to limit the use of sensitive Personal Information in certain circumstances;
- The rights to opt out of targeted advertising, sales of Personal Information, or profiling; and
- Correction of your Personal Information that is inaccurate.
- Deletion of your Personal Information.
- Opt out of the processing of your Personal Information for the purposes of providing you with targeted advertising. Please note that we do not engage in targeted advertising to anyone under the age of 16.
Pursuant to the Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A, we do not currently engage in the sale of any covered information, according to the statute’s defined meaning of a “sale.”

Exercising Your Privacy Rights

You can also reach through the Site by clicking “Contact” at the top of any page. To protect your privacy, we may need to authenticate your identity before we respond to your rights request. We will verify your identity by requesting identifying information, such as your full name, address, phone number, email address, amount of your most recent payment, or account number. We will cross-reference the information provided with the data on file to ensure the details match. If you do not complete the verification process, we may be unable to process your request. Any information you provide to authenticate your identity will only be used to process your rights request and not for any other purpose. Please be aware that we do not accept or process rights requests submitted through other means.
We will respond to your rights request within 30 days, though in certain cases we may inform you that we will need more time to act on your request. If we suspect fraudulent or malicious activity on or from your account, we will delay taking action on your request until we can appropriately verify your identity and the request as authentic. Also note that each of the rights are subject to certain exceptions.
We reserve the right to decline to process, or charge a reasonable fee for, requests from a US resident that are unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.
Authorized Agent Requests. You may designate an authorized agent to make a rights request on your behalf. Your authorized agent may submit such a request by following the same method described above in the section titled Exercising Your Personal Information Rights. We may require verification of your authorized agent’s authority in addition to the information we require for verification of your identity.
Other Information Use
Payments. We may use Service Providers for payment processing (e.g. payment processors). We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors such as Stripe, QuickFee, Inc., Aiwyn, Inc. whose use of Your Personal Information is governed by their policies and terms. We encourage you to review their respective policies and contact them directly if you have any questions about how they handle your Personal Information.
Third-Party Content. Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the content provided by, or the privacy practices of, these third parties. Please be aware that this Policy does not apply to your activities on these third-party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.
Security. We make reasonable efforts to protect your information by using administrative, technological, and physical safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain and protect it from accidental loss, unauthorized access or use, or any other inappropriate or unlawful processing. However, because no information system can be 100% secure, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Children’s Privacy. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use information from children under 16 years of age, and no part of our Services are targeted to or directed toward children. If you learn that a child has provided us with information in violation of this Policy, then you may alert us at Dataprivacy@pinionglobal.com.
International Visitors. Our Services are hosted in the United States and intended for visitors located within the United States. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, then please note that you are transferring your information outside of those regions to the United States for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Services. By using our Services, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information as described in this Policy.
EU Privacy Rights
European Union / European Economic Area (EEA) data subjects may have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”). Once you make a request, we will respond in one month or less unless extenuating circumstances apply.

You may have a right to be informed about what Personal Information we collect from you and how it is used, as well as our purposes for processing your Personal Information, how long we retain your data, and who we share it with. Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making Including Profiling
You may have the right to not be subject to a decision based solely on an automated process (no human involvement) which produces legal effects or significantly affects you in a similar way. We will not make these types of decisions by solely automated processes.
