K·Coe Isom announced the appointment of three individuals as a new partner: Jeanne Bernick, Brent Bright, and Michelle Ellis; and seven firm leaders as principals: Roxie Azparren, Lisa Baalman, Thomas Eatherly, Ryan Herrman, Maxson Irsik, Scott Miller, and Karli Olsen.

New Partners:

Jeanne Bernick leads the firm’s overall market and growth strategies.  She actively helps clients with succession planning and family business consulting, frequently speaks in support of women in agriculture, and is a member of K·Coe’s Executive Leadership team.  She is based in Iowa.

Brent Bright, CPA is a recognized thought leader on the issues that farmers and ranchers throughout the country are facing.  He provides expert advisory, management, and innovative solutions on tax planning, financial strategy, accounting, estate plans, business reorganization, and succession plans.  He is based in Colorado.

Michelle Ellis, CPA, CVA  leads the firm’s business valuation and litigation support practice with innate insights and a wide breadth of experience.  Her range of expertise in business valuation and financial analysis during transitions help both individuals and companies achieve their goals.  She is based in California.

 

New Principals:

Roxie Azparren, CPA is a specialized consultant in audit and assurance for businesses and leads the firm’s quality control monitoring.  She has expertise in managing Employee Benefit Plan audits and ERISA requirements, as well as foreseeing and remedying compliance issues.  She is based in California.

Lisa Baalman, CPA fosters the financial business health of multistate construction and manufacturing companies, and is specialized in tax compliance and consulting, financial reporting, risk mitigation, and business life cycle planning.  She is based in Kansas.   

Thomas Eatherly consults with ag producers throughout the country to guide them in making sound operational decisions – from farm and ranch profitability and efficiency to risk mitigation and financial management.  He is based in Tennessee.

Ryan Herrman, CPA manages the challenges and creates innovative solutions for family businesses.  He is an expert in estate and business plans and multi-generational strategy, with specialized knowledge of the telecommunications industry and the equipment dealer market.  He is based in Kansas.

Maxson Irsik, CPA advises agribusiness owners and family-owned ranches on ways to expand, optimize, and protect their businesses and legacies for the long term.  Published monthly, Maxson authors a column to help farmers and ranchers with innovative insights and guidance.  He is based in Kansas.

Scott Miller, JD leads the national tax solutions team and provides expert guidance on highly complex business transactions and decisions.  His insights and deep tax law knowledge aid agriculture businesses, manufacturing operations, partnerships, and corporations.  He is based in Colorado.

Karli Olsen, CPA provides expert tax and accounting advisory to create efficiencies, profitability, and optimized tax structure for businesses.  She is adept at tackling the challenges that are unique to food and beverage, manufacturing, and agriculture businesses.  She is based in California.
