Phil Newendyke leads the firm’s Farm Program Services function, leveraging his extensive expertise to guide farmers and ranchers across the country. Phil brings over 20 years of experience to help agricultural producers navigate complex challenges and achieve their goals.

With a foundation in agriculture, Phil grew up on a family farm in Northwest Illinois that raised row crops and livestock. His early experiences showing club lambs and steers fostered a lifelong passion and dedication to agriculture. After earning his degree in 2004, Phil began his career as an agricultural loan officer before joining the USDA Farm Service Agency’s farm loan division. He later served as the Director of the Ogle County, Illinois, FSA office for 13 years, managing production and conservation programs at the county level.

Phil’s unique perspective stems from his years of working within the regulatory agency before transitioning to the private sector. This blend of public and private experience allows him to deliver practical solutions to farmers in need, backed by deep knowledge of both regulations and real-world challenges.

Since joining the firm in January 2022, Phil has dedicated himself to helping producers across the food and agriculture value chain succeed. His insights and hands-on experience provide invaluable support to clients, enabling them to navigate industry complexities with confidence.
