Mike Teeples is a trusted telecommunications advisor with deep experience supporting broadband and rural communications providers in navigating financial, regulatory, and strategic challenges. He works closely with clients on a range of complex issues, bringing a practical, solutions-oriented perspective shaped by firsthand industry experience.
In his role as a Principal, Mike co-manages the broadband financial consulting team while leading merger and acquisition efforts. He helps organizations evaluate opportunities, address compliance requirements, and make informed decisions in an increasingly complex and evolving industry. His approach combines technical expertise with a clear understanding of how telecommunications businesses operate day to day.
Earlier in his career, Mike served as controller for a rural telephone cooperative and worked with a CPA firm specializing in auditing independent telephone companies. This experience provides him with a well-rounded perspective on both the financial and operational realities communications providers face.
Mike has also been actively involved in the telecommunications industry through a range of leadership and advisory roles. He has served on the Wisconsin State Telecommunications Association Associate Member Group Committee, as Treasurer of the Telephone Accountants Service Klub in Kansas, on NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association’s Associate Member Advisory Committee, and on the TCA Board as Vice President and Treasurer. He is passionate about expanding broadband access in rural America and continues to prioritize work that supports that mission.
